About LLMFit Web
Learn about our mission, how it works, and our data sources
Our Mission
LLMFit Web aims to become the go-to reference platform for local LLM hardware compatibility. We help users quickly find the best open-source LLMs for their hardware without any technical barriers.
How It Works
- Hardware Detection — Automatically detect your GPU model, VRAM, RAM, and CPU cores through browser APIs
- GPU Mapping — Match detected GPU to our database for complete hardware specs and performance tier
- Model Filtering — Filter runnable models based on VRAM availability, excluding those beyond your hardware capability
- Smart Scoring — Score each model across four dimensions: quality, speed, compatibility, and context length
- Personalized Recommendations — Present ranked models best suited for your hardware, along with upgrade suggestions
Data Sources
Model data comes from public benchmarks (MMLU, HumanEval, etc.), official technical reports, and community feedback. GPU specs are sourced from vendor documentation and published reviews. All data is regularly updated to maintain accuracy.
Our Vision
We aim to cover 1000+ models and hundreds of GPU configurations, supporting 100K+ monthly active users. Future plans include more precise inference speed estimation, multi-GPU setup detection, and community rating systems.
